Carlsbad Police Search for Missing At-Risk Teen

Reina Dascoulias, a 17-year-old Carlsbad student, was reported as a runaway by her parents on Monday. Police elevated her status Tuesday to "missing at-risk."

The Carlsbad Police Department is seeking the help of the public in locating a teenage girl who was reported missing from her residence in north Carlsbad.

Reina Dascoulias—who went missing Monday—is 17, 5’4", weighs 130 pounds and has blue eyes and black hair. She is known to frequent the areas of Carlsbad, Cardiff, Encinitas and Temecula, according to Carlsbad Police.

She was reported as a runaway on Monday but officials elevated her status Tuesday to "missing at-risk" because of "emotional issues" she may be having, said Lt. Marc Reno.

This is her first time being reported as a runaway, said Reno.
