Update: Carlsbad Teen Still Missing, May Be With Man She Met Online
The City of Carlsbad Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing at-risk juvenile.

Carlsbad police is hoping the public can help find missing 17-year-old Christine Jelinek. She has also used the name Kira Hawkins. She was last seen in the company of a 45 to 50-year-old white male adult in the area of Rancho Santa Fe Rd. and Melrose Dr. in Carlsbad. It is possible that Jelinek met the male adult online.
Jelinek was reported missing by her mother Wednesday morning at 8:07.

The man she may be with is believed to be 5’9” to 5’ 11” and 160 pounds.
