Elderly Man Crashes into Ruby's Diner, Injures Two
The accident happened around 2:31 p.m. Sunday.
An 82-year-old man drove his car Sunday into a Ruby's Diner at 5630 Paseo Del Norte between Car Country Drive and Palomar Airport Road, injuring two people inside the family restaurant.
It happened at 2:31 p.m., said Carlsbad Police Lt. Marc Reno.
One person struck by the car inside the restaurant was taken to a hospital by paramedics. Another was not injured seriously and drove himself to receive medical care, Reno said.
