Fugitive Friday: Task Force Seeks Gang Member Wanted on Gun Charge

The San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force needs the public's help to locate a gang member wanted on two felony warrants. Anonymous tipsters can provide information to the Crime Stoppers hotline.

Authorities are seeking to apprehend Jaime Margarito Reyes, a 21-year-old felon who goes by "Shady" and is wanted on firearm, stolen property, and vandalism charges. Reyes is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached if spotted.

Reyes is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet 8-inches tall and 180 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo design around his neck. Authorities say he is known to frequent the North County area and Fallbrook.

Anyone with information about Reyes can call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Email and text can be sent through the Crime Stoppers web site. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
