Hearing Set for Former Army and Navy Academy Teacher Charged with Molestation
The former boarding school administrator was accused of molesting two of his students.
An April 1 preliminary hearing date has been confirmed for Jeffrey Barton, a former administrator, teacher and mentor at Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad charged with molesting two of his students.
Barton, 56, was employed at the military boarding school from 1995 until last year.
An investigation began in June 2013, when a former student of the college-preparatory school, now an adult, reported allegations of past sexual conduct on the part of Barton, police Lt. Marc Reno said last year.
