Family Displaced in Carlsbad House Fire

According to a fire dispatcher, fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in the 7200 block of Circulo Papayo at 9:43 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters had the blaze under control around 10:15 p.m.

The dispatcher said everyone was safely able to exit the home.

Fire investigators are determining the exact cause, but believe the fire may have started in the garage, said the fire dispatcher.

Patch blogger Patrick Canler told Carlsbad Patch, "I heard over the scanner that five family members were displaced in the fire and spending the night with neighbors."
