Judge Rules Carlsbad Unified Was Negligent, Will Pay for Molested Girls

The two girls were awarded $4.5 million.

Two girls who were molested by a Pacific Rim Elementary School teacher were awarded $4.5 million Monday, according to the North County Times.

The jury decided that Carlsbad Unified should pay for 40 percent of the cost while former teacher Raymond Firth should pay 60 percent, according to the newspaper.
