La Costa Resort Hotel Thief Sentenced to Nearly 9 Years in Prison

Perry Allen Korol, 50, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to nine felony counts of first-degree burglary.

A Carlsbad man who burglarized several guest rooms at La Costa Resort and Spa over a 10-month period was sentenced Thursday to nearly nine years in state prison.

Perry Allen Korol, 50, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to nine felony counts of first-degree burglary.

He was sentenced to the eight-year, eight-month term by Vista Judge K. Michael Kirkman.

Authorities said the burglary spree occurred from December 2011 to September of last year.
