Man Charged with Murder in Houston Arrested in Carlsbad
Alain Paredes-Ruiz, 30, turned himself in to a fire department substation in Carlsbad and is in jail in vista awaiting extradition back to Texas.
KHOU in Houston Texas reports that a suspect who is charged with fatally shooting a man at a Houston club was arrested in Carlsbad.
Alain Paredes-Ruiz, 30, turned himself in to a fire department substation in Carlsbad, California, and was subsequently arrested by Carlsbad Police Department officers. He remains in the San Diego County Jail in Vista, California, awaiting extradition back to Texas, reported the TV station.
Paredes-Ruiz, is charged with murder in the killing of Wilfredo Salinas Reyes, 34, of Houston, who died at the scene.
