Man with Skateboard Robs Carlsbad Wells Fargo

The incident happened at the branch in the 6900 block of El Camino Real shortly before 11 a.m. Monday.

The FBI is looking for a skateboard-toting man dressed all in black Monday who handed a demand note to a teller at the Wells Fargo branch office in the 6900 block of El Camino Real in Carlsbad shortly before 11 a.m.

According the FBI, the thief appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s.

After the cashier turned over an undisclosed amount of money, the bandit walked out of the bank and fled the area in an unknown direction.

Witnesses described him as a roughly 5-foot-9-inch, 175-pound white man in a T-shirt and a cloth cap that was pulled down over his hair and ears.

No injuries were reported and no weapon observed.
