New Investigation Tool Could Save Carlsbad Police Time

The Police Department invested $60,000 into new technology.

Carlsbad Police Department recently invested $60,000 into a new imaging tool that could save officers time, according to a North County Times report.

Carlsbad police Lt. Matt Magro told the newspaper the FARO Laser Scanner 3D could reduce the "the time it will take to document the scene" by up to 80 percent.
