Police Arrest Drive-By Shooting Suspect
Luciano Velasquez, 23, is in jail being held on three counts of attempted murder and one charge of participating in a street gang.
with the help of Oceanside Police arrested shooting suspect Luciano Velasquez around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Calle Montecito in Oceanside.
Police believe the 23-year-old alleged gang member Oct. 11 in the 3400 block of Madison Street in Carlsbad.
After the arrest, Carlsbad Police SWAT team served a search warrant at a residence located in the 500 block of Roja Street in Oceanside, where investigators collected evidence.

Velasquez was booked into the Vista Detention Facility for attempted murder and gang-related charges.
