Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect
City of Carlsbad Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in an assault with a deadly weapon.
The Carlsbad Police Department is asking the public to report any information they have regarding the identity of a suspect described as a Hispanic male adult, 25‐30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches in height, 160 to 180 pounds, with black hair.
Around 8 p.m. April 4, 2011, the suspect got on a northbound North County Transit District bus in the area of Dove Lane and El Camino Real in Carlsbad. While on the bus, the suspect reportedly assaulted and injured another passenger with a bottle. Detective Willis of the City of Carlsbad Police Department reports, “The assault was unprovoked.”
