3 Adults, 2 Children Injured in Carlsbad Car Crash Wednesday

The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Innovation Way.

Carlsbad Police are investigating a two-vehicle car crash that injured five people, including two children, Wednesday night.

At approximately 7:10 p.m., police responded to the accident at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Innovation Way.

A Dodge Durango was apparently traveling eastbound on Palomar Airport Road when it collided with a Honda Civic traveling southbound on Innovation Way, according to police.

The four people in the Honda, including two children, were transported to various hospitals for their injuries and the driver of the Dodge was evaluated and released at the scene, according to police.

According to NBC 7 the victims four victims in the Honda were taken to "various local hospitals, including Rady Children’s Hospital, via ground and air."
