Theft Victims Can View Stolen Property at the Carlsbad Police Department

Items include miscellaneous silver, gold and costume jewelry, watches, laptops, camera, iPods, GPS and other electronic devices.

Between May 2011 and July 15, 2011, the citizens of Carlsbad, Oceanside and San Marcos have been victimized by a series of vehicle and residential burglaries.  As a result of an extensive investigation by all three law enforcement agencies, numerous items of property have been seized.  The owners of some of the property have not been identified.  These items include miscellaneous silver, gold and costume jewelry, watches, laptops, camera, iPods, GPS and other electronic devices. 

On Saturday, Aug. 27 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Carlsbad and Oceanside Police Departments will be conducting a viewing of all property seized  as a result of this investigation where owners have not been identified. 

If you were a victim of theft between the above stated dates in the cities of Carlsbad, Oceanside, or San Marcos you are welcome to view the items in the conference rooms at the, 2560 Orion Way, Carlsbad, CA 92010.

Please bring proof of ownership of any stolen items to include photographs, receipts of purchase, serial numbers and police reports to assist in identifying your property. If you have any specific questions, please call Carlsbad Police Department at 760 931 2227.
