Trial Date Set for Man Accused Fatally Stabbing 24-Year-Old in Carlsbdd
David Diaz is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Asher C. Freeman at a residence in the 3500 block of Sierra Morena about 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 7.
An Aug. 5 trial date has been set for David Diaz, who is accused in the fatal stabbing of a 24-year-old man in a home in Carlsbad.
Diaz, 31, is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Asher C. Freeman at a residence in the 3500 block of Sierra Morena about 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 7.
Diaz, a resident of the home, called police to report the shooting and was later arrested. He was treated for minor hand injuries before he was booked into jail early the next day.
