Two Arrested for Burglarizing Home on Yosemite Street

The duo from Vista both had outstanding warrants out for their arrest.

On June 20 at 9:33 a.m. the received a call of a burglary in progress in the 4300 block of Yosemite St.  The caller, who was not at her residence, reported that her juvenile daughter was at home and was reporting the burglary to her via a cell phone.

The juvenile reported to her mother that a Hispanic male adult and a Hispanic female adult had knocked on the front door and when there was no answer, they began breaking into the house via the dog door.  At this point, the juvenile left the house and went to a neighbor’s house.

At 9:38 a.m., Carlsbad Police arrived in the area and found the suspects had burglarized and left the house. Following leads from area witnesses, the police department began tracking the suspects.

 At 10:15 a.m., Carlsbad Police took the female suspect into custody in the area of the 3100 block of El Camino Real.  She was identified as 22 year old Natalie Espinoza of Vista.  Espinoza is on parole for Intimidation of a Victim or Witness and has an outstanding warrant.

At 10:30 a.m., Carlsbad Police located the male suspect in the 2600 block of El Camino Real. He was identified as 24 year old Emmanuel Saucedo of Vista. Saucedo is on probation for drug charges and has an outstanding warrant.  Carlsbad Police arrested both Espinoza and Saucedo for Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property and Grand Theft. Espinoza was taken to the Vista Detention Facility.  Saucedo will be taken to the Vista Detention Facility after a medical evaluation at Tri-City Medical Center.
