The public is invited to hear District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis speak at the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated (CRWF) monthly luncheon on Feb. 25. Since taking office in 2003, Dumanis undertook a major reorganization of the office and has helped pass critical laws for California.
“It should be very interesting to hear how Bonnie improved the functioning of the District Attorney Office and how she has successfully used social media and digital technology to prevent crime. She also succeeded in passing important legislation such as child protection laws. I am delighted that she is coming to share her experiences and insights,” says Jackie Peacock, president of CRWF.
CRWF meets every fourth Tuesday and is open to the public. Beginning at 11 a.m., the CRWF luncheon costs $30 for CRWF members and $35 for non-members.
For the Feb. 25 luncheon, please RSVP by Friday, Feb. 21 to Niki Coates at 760-931-9420 or email@example.com.
