Carlsbad's smoking ban on outdoor patio areas of restaurants takes effect Nov. 2, 2012.
Cigar Grotto in Oceanside is hosting it's last Cigar Social at Carlsbad Hennessey’s Nov. 1 and calling the event, "Eve of the Ban on Smoking in Carlsbad Cigar Social."
The $60 event includes a three course meal and drinks.
The organizers, wrote on their website, "This will not be the end of the socials but will be our last at our favorite place and home."
