How to get on Camp Pendleton to Visit California's Only Dunkin Donuts

Civilians are allowed on base with proper documentation.

Updated 6/10/12

The only Dunkin Donuts in California is on Camp Pendleton. Originally you didn't have to be a service member to enjoy doughnuts and coffee. You just needed:

• A valid driver license.

• Current Registration.

• Current liability insurance.

However, Camp Pendleton saw a sharp increase in traffic after Dunkin Donuts opened in May causing them to highlight access rules for civilians:

Civilians are permitted aboard base when sponsored by a Department of Defense Identification Card holder or under the guidelines of the Sponsored Visitor Program.

And while some non-Department of Defense identification card holders are allowed on base, access is considered on a case-by-case basis, a Camp Pendleton official told Patch.

Will you go to Camp Pendleton just to eat at Dunkin Donuts? Tell us in comments?

When's the last time you went? Now they make doughnuts offsite & they're stale.
