Report: Carlsbad May Sue State Over Redevelopment Dollars

The city may sue the state government after it lost 88 percent of its redevelopment dollars request, according to a local report.

Carlsbad leaders may sue California after the state rejected "88 percent of its $1.9 million request" for redevelopment dollars, according to a North County Times report.

Officials say "they believe the state is misinterpreting the law," according to the newspaper.
