Standby Poll Workers Wanted

People are needed to sign up to be poll workers in Carlsbad and Encinitas in case of last-minute cancellations on election day.

Standby poll workers for Tuesday's election are still needed in Carlsbad and Encinitas, according to Holly Davidson, election processing supervisor for San Diego County Registrar of Voters.

Poll workers receive a stipend ranging from $75 to $150.

Poll workers must be U.S. citizens, registered voters, have their own transportation for getting to training and getting supplies to and from a precinct, and have access to the internet in order to complete a portion of training online.
