's PTA puts on a Spring Fling boutique each year. "Usually we do this around the holidays, but it gets to busy during that time of year so we decided to switch it to spring," said PTA president Cathy Reid.
Reid is hoping to raise three thousands dollars from the sales at the 26 booths which are mostly parent-run companies.
The money goes to:
- P.E. teachers
- Science lab teachers
- English language art support
- Meet the masters art program
- Teacher grants
"I think it's been a success," added Reid who thanked Liz Sloss, another PTA member who put on the event with the help of Carol-Ann Matyas.
