Don Diego Scholarship Application Deadline Is April 1

The Del Mar-based Don Diego Scholarship Foundation is offering four $5,000 college scholarships to outstanding high school seniors throughout San Diego County who have participated in the San Diego County Fair and/or other activities associated with the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2013.

Eligibility requirements and application are available online.

Past Don Diego Scholarship recipients hail from throughout San Diego County, including Carlsad, the City of San Diego, Encinitas, Ramona, Fallbrook, Valley Center, Escondido, El Cajon, Lakeside, Alpine and other communities.

These stellar students graduated with excellent GPAs, committed community service and exceptional talents from a variety of schools, including Carlsbad High, Sunset High, Fallbrook High, El Capitan High, Escondido High, Ramona High, Torrey Pines High, San Dieguito Academy, La Jolla High, Valhalla High and others.
