will host a workshop that will teach the creation of a legal Power of Attorney document on Monday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Activity Room at 799 Pine Ave. in Carlsbad.
Participants will leave the workshop with a valid Power of Attorney in force.
Registrations must be made by calling 760-602-4650 and there is a $45 workshop fee plus a $25 materials fee to cover the costs of preparing the valid Power of Attorney, notary fees plus a book and CD to take home to re-do the workshop on the home computer.

Join Virginia Rarra, who is registered and bonded as a Legal Document Assistant and Notary Public and has 35 years of experience in the legal field, as she leads participants through the process of filling out more than one Power of Attorney: Financial Power of Attorney, including instructions on when to record; Healthcare Power of Attorney, including end of life wishes, organ donation and pain control wishes; and a Do Not Resuscitate order (if desired).
