Hope Elementary Wins Handbells Valued at $5,800

The school's music teacher won a contest that was for Schulmerich's 50th Anniversary prize drawing.

This July Hope Elementary music teacher Sharon Evans was notified that her school won a 2-octave set of Schulmerich Handbells and Ring–n-Roll cases, valued at $5800.

Schulmerich Carillons is located in Sellersville, PA and was celebrating 50 years as a leading manufacturer of handbells. The contest was the 50th Anniversary prize drawing. Evans who has an active fifth grade handbell program submitted her entry last spring. The prize drawing was at the Handbell Musicians of America annual meeting in Portland Oregon.

 “When Hope Elementary was announced as the prize winner, the gathered convention attendees burst into cheers and applause” said Schulmerich President Jonathan Goldstein, Esq.
