The Jefferson Elementary School Garden program has a shared goal with Jenny Craig of educating the next generation about the benefits of eating more fruits and vegetables. In 2011, Jenny Craig began a commitment to donate to the Jefferson Elementary School Garden program. The donation will continue to aid the Jefferson Gardens in their expansion of the grounds, fund new drip irrigation and supply various garden resources that can be shared with teachers in classrooms and garden helpers.
