Reported: Numerous CHS Parents Kept Students Home Last Friday

According to a Lancer Link article, attendance clerk Ms. Miranda estimated about half the student body skipped school Dec. 21 after threats of voilence surfaced.

The entire Carlsbad High School community was notified last week after the school received reports of a student threatening to bring weapons on campus on Dec. 21.

Despite CUSD reassuring the situation was handled, several parents expressed concern with Carlsbad Patch, stating they would not have their child go to school that day.

Turns out, they were not alone. According to this Lancer Link article, the school was a ghost town the day before the long holiday break: thelancerlink.com/news/2012/12/21/attendance-apocalypse-plagues-chs/
