Sage Creek H.S. Meetings This Week

A panel of teachers and community members will be discussing the concerns of opening Sage Creek High this coming Fall Tuesday March 19 at the Dove Library from 6-7 p.m.

Meanwhile, on March 21st at 6:30 pm, Sage Creek Principal César Morales will host an informational meeting for families of incoming 9th graders at the school’s Gymnasium. The meeting will help parents form the school’s inaugural Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Parents will also have an opportunity to meet the Sage Creek Leadership Team, mingle with other “pioneer” families and purchase iconic Bobcat Spirit Gear. 

As construction of Carlsbad Unified School District’s (CUSD’s) new Sage Creek High School nears completion, the green, gold and black Bobcats will welcome its first 9th grade class in August 2013. 

Principal Morales and Counselor Roger Brown, Administrative Assistant Debra Shinto and Registrar Vicki Ruby will move onto the campus on April 8th. Mr. Brown will hold one-hour afternoon and evening information sessions with groups of students and parents at the new Library between April 8th-11th to discuss the course request process and co-curricular offerings such as athletics, ASB and other clubs. The curriculum will include A-G College Prep Courses, Visual and Performing Arts Electives, and a Biomedical Sciences Elective Pathway.
