Sage Creek High School Letting Students Help Design the Campus

Sage Creek High School will open this fall with freshman only.

The brand new school off Cannon Road is a hosting a showcase for incoming students and their families Friday May 31 starting at 5:20 p.m. with a PTSA meeting and the school's first Bobcat Prep Rally at 6:30 in the gym.

Principal César Morales expects 700 to 1,100 people to attend. There will be a DJ, photo booths, a red carpet, spirit gear for sale and more.

Morales said the school is purposely not entirely done. Students will be able to help decide whether the cafeteria become a traditional cafeteria or more of a student lounge-type lunch place. They will also have a say in outdoor furniture and other fixtures around the campus.

Sage Creek is a S.T.E.M. school which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Tours of the campus are still being given each Wednesday through June 26. For more information on the school, academic programming, campus tours and more, go to:
