Wikipedia claims Tony Hawk, professional skateboarder, attended freshman and sophomore years at CHS. However, Carlsbad Patch had the chance to meet Hawk and he says, "I never went to high school there, my son did though. I did live in Carlsbad but I graduated from Torrey Pines High School."
