Twice the Brain Power

Pacific Rim Elementary twins are bright and athletic.

Charlotte and Max Wiggins love to read and when it comes to books, they’ve tackled some classics.

“I really like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe because it’s exciting,” said 8-year-old Charlotte.

Charlotte and her twin brother Max will be third graders at next year, where their mom is a kindergarten teacher.

“I’m so proud of them and grateful to have a boy and a girl who truly love each other,” said Karen Wiggins. “It’s great to see them balance each other out. Just this morning they got up and starting working on a Father’s Day project together.”

When Max isn’t cracking open a new book, he’s doing one of the many sports he enjoys: soccer, basketball, baseball and swimming are on the list.

Charlotte also loves to swim but dancing is one of her favorite activities. She takes ballet at the San Elijo Dance and Music Academy and performed in the Nutcracker at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.

The Wiggins twins are looking forward to a great summer, that will include some “summer school” at home.

“Our mom makes sure we do a little math and reading,” said Max. “She makes it fun and we’re even learning how to type!”
