Take an introductory course to learn how to make your bike a transportation machine! Come learn how to be more comfortable while cycling and travel efficiently!
Class will cover how to choose the right bike and properly fit a helmet. Learn tips for the safest ways to ride in traffic, techniques to avoid or deal with road hazards and emergency maneuvers along with other useful gems of knowledge, like the best way to lock up your bike and how to use a bike in combination with public transit, and cyclists' legal rights and responsibilities. Instruction includes information regarding bike maintenance, adjustments, minor repairs and quick fixes. The course takes place both in two sessions, in a classroom and on the road lead by a League of American Cyclist Certified Instructor.
Bicycle and Helmet are NOT needed on the first day.
