On Saturday June 4th, 2011, the Carlsbad Community is coming together to host its 4th annual Carlsbad Beach Fest, a free, fun filled event celebrating recreation paradise through good beach stewardship. The mission behind this event is to highlight our coastal playground as an irreplaceable resource and to show appreciation for its beauty and value. Exciting beach and water activities are planned for all to enjoy and participate in. Growing from 850 people in 2007 to 2600 last year, we look forward to declaring the Carlsbad Beach Fest as one of Carlsbad’s most important events of the year, with the anticipation of doubling attendance.
