EGGStravaganza Spring Festival

It's time again for the annual EGGStravaganza Spring Festival at Poinsettia Community Park.

Easter enthusiasts can look forward to crafts, bounce houses and games, along with a sampling of summer camps offered by the city. Registration is now open for summer camps: view the 2012 Summer Camps Guide online at www.carlsbadca.gov/parksandrec

As a courtesy, a limited number of $5 activity cards for EGGStravaganza (which will give you admission to the egg scramble) are available for purchase in advance through Friday, April 6, only at the following locations during regular business hours:

An “Egg Scramble” activity, which will take place of a traditional egg hunt, will be ongoing between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. simultaneously on two of the baseball fields.

One field is dedicated to children 5 years and younger, and parents are allowed to assist children while collecting eggs. Another field is for children 6 years and older, and limits the number of children on the field to 20 at a time.
