Free lecture on maintaining healthy joints

Dr. Joel Heiser of Tri-City Medical Center’s Orthopaedic & Spine Institute will give a talk titled "Caring For Your Joints" at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Las Villas de Carlsbad, 1088 Laguna Drive.

Dr. Heiser will inform attendees how to care for their joints to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. He will offer tips on reducing the effects of age-related wear-and-tear. There will be free joint screenings by Tri-City Medical Center’s physical therapists following the talk.
