The Optimist Club of Carlsbad will be hosting its 18th annual Carl Tillinghast Golf Tournament on Monday, September 15. The Tournament, which is the Club’s primary annual fundraiser, will take place at the El Camino Country Club, located at 3202 Vista Way in Oceanside.
The cost of entering the Tournament is $150 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, a bag of golf gifts, lunch, and a New York Strip Steak dinner. Check-in for the Tournament begins at 11:00 a.m., with the Tournament itself beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. The Tournament features two “hole-in-one” contests, with opportunities to win new cars from Weseloh Chevrolet-Kia and North County Hyundai.
Those who are unable to golf during the Tournament may attend the dinner for $40. There will be raffles and a silent auction during the dinner.

Corporate and tee sponsorships for the Tournament are also available. Tee sponsorships are $150, and corporate sponsorships begin at $500.

Founded in 1956, the Optimist Club of Carlsbad is one of the oldest community service groups in Carlsbad.
