Sixteen year old Schaber who has cerebral palsy is one of seven Olympic athletes TD Ameritrade has pledged to support.

TD Ameritrade is committed to helping seven next-gen athletes get to Sochi for the 2014 Games and become U.S. Paralympians.

Carlsbad native Katrina Schaber, 16 (Alpine Skier) is among the hopefuls chosen to travel to Sochi this winter. According to her bio TD Ameritrade's campaign page, "Katrina started skiing when she was four years old, and was racing by the time she turned 11. Though diagnosed with cerebral palsy in the third grade, Katrina has brought home two Junior Gold and two bronze medals by the age of 15."
