Pool Paddleboard Yoga Coming to Carlsbad
Carlsbad Parks and Rec. is offering a unique class this winter at the new aquatic center at Alga Norte Community Park.

Paddleboard Yoga combines all the elements of being outside to bring you a completely unique experience in the pool. Class begins with a short warm up on the pool deck to get the fire ignited in your body, moving onto the boards in the water where we start with some basic postures and slow sun salutations. After growing confident with some basic transitions, class will dive deep into the present moment and begin to explore some more advanced postures. Explore and play freely, after all, if you fall, it will only be into the water. Come prepared to get wet. Yoga experience not required. Paddleboard may be rented for $85, due to instructor at first session. Drop in: $21; $39 if paddleboard rental is needed. A month of classes twice a week is $127. Ages 15 and up.
