San Diego Chargers Under Investigation for Sticky Substance

The substance could be Stickum—a product that's used to improve one's grip.

The NFL is investigating the San Diego Chargers for allegedly using a sticky substance during the Oct. 15 game against the Denver Broncos, which they lost 35-24.

Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer tweeted "NFL Security has already begun investigation as SD equipment man was hiding illegal sticky substance and giving to players. Line judge saw it and had it confiscated and sent to broncos and league."

The substance could be Stickum, a product used to improve one's grip and banned by the league in 1981. Possible penalties include fines and a loss of draft picks.
