Once a Volcano, Lake Calavera Provides Great Biking and Hiking

Volunteer trail captain Eric Mickelson take us on a tour of the city's Lake Calavera Trail, located in the northeast part of the city bordering the city of Oceanside.

It's estimated about 400 people and 300 dogs visit the preserve every day.

There are both flat and steep trails.

Do you go to Lake Calavera for recreation? Tell us in comments.
