A Big Bay Boom or Bust? Some folks enjoyed the accidental spectacular but many people drove many miles to see a much longer show, and not the 17-second malfunction.
San Diego, CA - July 4, 2012 Hundreds of fireworks went off at the same time on three barges in San Diego's Glorietta Bay creating an accidental yet spectacular display. No one was injured. The technical malfunction caused officials to cancel the fireworks show for the first time in the 12 year year history of the "Big Bay Boom" - the largest fireworks display in San Diego County.
