So, there's a little gem located in Oceanside, down the street from the beach on Mission Ave., what gem do you ask? Well, it's called the Burger House and I do have to say they have delicious burgers.
Are you looking for a place to try a different type of burger? Well, maybe a burger made from Wild Boar, Venison, Elk or maybe Kangaroo? Then come to the Burger House and you can, or if you don't want to go that extreme, then of course they have 100% premium Black Angus Beef burgers.
On our visit we went Angus Beef style and ordered a Pastrami Burger, Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger and a Bacon & Blue Cheeseburger. We also ordered Onion Rings, Chili Cheese Fries. You place your order at the counter and have a seat at your table, they will bring your food to you. It was busy the day we went in, but we didn't wait long at all, the people were friendly and very courteous and made sure we had everything we had asked for. Once the burgers were served, you could definitely see they were fresh, hot and looked tasty.
The pastrami burger had loads of juicy pastrami on it and cooked to perfection, the bacon mac & cheese burger had a generous portion of mac & cheese on it with thick cut bacon and delicious, and the bacon & blue cheeseburger was definitely mouth watering delicious, with thick cut bacon and loads of blue cheese which was nice and gooey I might add. Our chili cheese fries were hot and super tasty, loaded with lots of chili and cheese, definitely enough for more than 1 person to eat. The onion rings were great in flavor as well, hot and fresh and they definitely had the taste of being made from scratch. Overall our experience was super and the staff were great. The gentleman that helped us made sure to come back to our table during our meal and check to make sure our food was to our liking.
So, if you are down by the beach and want a great burger, then my suggestion is stop by the Burger House and grab a burger. Enjoy the place and atmosphere by eating inside or enjoying their tables outside in the back patio, you'll definitely come back over and over again to this place for a memorable burger.
As for the prices they are about a $+1/2 on the $$$$ scale, but then again this is an actual burger house that takes your burger up a couple of notches and not some drive thru mass produced burger.
