Local Teen Selling Toffee for Eagle Scout Project Helping Agua Hendionda Lagoon

Jace Hansen is raising $3000 to build a patron walkway connecting two patios at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's Discovery Center in Carlsbad.

Buy one pound of homemade toffee for $20 and Jace Hansen will hand deliver it to you if you are local, or ship it to those out of state.

Jace is doing this as part of his Eagle Scout project. He's a member of Troop 732 in Carlsbad.

Tax deductible checks can be made out to the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation. Or donate online to 501(c)3 nonprofit:Aguahedionda.org/Membership/Donate.aspx

Those who donate more than $250 will get their name on a permanent sign that Jace is also making as part of his project. Construction kicks off on the walkway the end of July. Jace said he is also looking for volunteers to help. He hopes to complete the walkway over a weekend time frame.
