Prepper's Fair Helps Locals Get Ready for Emergencies, Disasters

Be Ready Prepper Fair brings preparedness and ham radio experts together to provide the tools and education to help you prepare.

Are you prepared for the next emergency, or natural disaster? If you want to know more about what to have at home to sustain your life and safety, then come to the “Prepper’s Fair,” at Be Ready Inc. in Oceanside on June 30.

The fair will be held in the parking lot at 602 Garrison Street in Oceanside, the home of Be Ready Inc., from 9 am. To 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012.

The Be Ready Inc. staff is proud to announce the line-up of guest speakers who will teach about the importance of using modern “Ham Radio” technology for emergency communications following a disaster.  Expert San Diego ham radio operator, Steve Early will be on hand at this event to answer questions.

Carl Gardenias, is the Orange County section manager for the American Relay League. He is presenting a seminar on “Communications the first 5 hours.” He’ll explain how to make contact with your family and community when all the other communication lines are down.

You’ll also be able to meet vendors of the best collection of emergency goods and supplies available today. For example, you can learn about new products like; “Humless’” silent generators, which are solar powered. There will be a demonstration on how you can cook with the power of the sun. Others will show you how to have solar-powered lights, and radios.

'...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
