OktoberWest - The 4th Annual OktoberWest celebration on October 12 is a lively outdoor festival includes music, beer, wine and festive culinary creations by Chef Eugenio Martignago. 

Carlsbad Public Safety Open House Oct. 12 - 
The event will feature live demonstrations including:

  • extraction and rescue 
  • SWAT mission 
  • Police K-9 maneuvers 
  • Rappelling rescue

GIA Jewelry Career Fair & Open House - GIA’s world headquarters in Carlsbad, will set the scene for the jewelry industry’s preeminent recruiting event on Oct. 11. The free event marks the only time each year that the coastal 30-acre Carlsbad campus is open to the public without appointment.
