Cindy lives in La Costa and grew up near Moonlight beach in Encinitas, California and graduated from San Dieguito high school, now San Dieguito Academy.  Her paternal and maternal family roots to the area date back to the 1930's.  It was her dream to one day open a preschool and kindergarten in her own community.  In 1990 she realized that dream.  She founded nationally accredited, La Costa Valley Preschool and Kindergarten and she continues to serve as the school's executive director.  She is also the County's  committee chair for Administrators and Directors on the board of San Diego's Chapter of the Association for Education of Young Children. 

She has supervised and administered State, Federal and private early childhood through school aged educational programs.  She has also taught high school and college level child development and business courses, and provides workshops for early childhood educators and parents alike. Cindy directed San Diego State University’s program before opening her own NAECY nationally accredited school in La Costa.<br><br>Cindy has earned an AA degree, Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, and Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Her credentials include advanced<br>California child development teaching and administration programs credentials, business and child development community college credentials, high school child<br>development and business credentials. She is also an ordained minister with credentials for youth and family counseling.
