Lola Sherman, Neighbor

Lola Sherman has been a reporter in San Diego County for many years.  She previously worked with the San Diego Union-Tribune and, before that, with the Vista Press, Del Mar News Press and La Jolla Light and Journal.  She writes a weekly column for the North County Times.  Her family has lived in California for many generations.  She has a journalism/social-studies degree from San Jose State University and did graduate work in Hispanic language and literature at the National University of Mexico.
