Hey there! My name is McKenna and I am an intern at the Carlsbad Patch! I am currently a senior at Carlsbad High School and hope to hone my writing skills and begin pursuing my passion towards a career in journalism.

 With this blog, I plan on shedding light on issues and events throughout the community with the "fresh" perspective of a 17 year old!

In my spare time I love finding deals at local vintage stores, dancing on the CHS dance team, and cheering on the USC Trojans at football games every fall!
