Come Play with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad at Biggest Fundraiser of Year

The "Come Play With Us!" Annual Gala will take place at La Costa Resort and Spa on Saturday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m, individual tickets are $250.

For more than sixty years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad has been a part of the fabric of the Carlsbad community, changing lives every day.

All this and more will be celebrated at the Club’s largest fundraising event of the year – the annual Gala. “Everyone is invited to come, dance the night away, and give to a great cause!” says Gala Co-Chair Barbi Nelson. “We want everyone to show up and celebrate the Club’s impact,” added Gala Co-Chair Viola Wheelihan.

The “Come Play With Us!” Annual Gala will take place at La Costa Resort and Spa on Saturday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m.  More than 550 business and community leaders are expected to attend this social event of the season complete with lavish cuisine and dancing to Bonnie Foster Production’s dynamic Wayne Foster Experience.

An exciting live auction, emceed by 10 Newscaster Kimberly Hunt and her husband, former Charger Billy Ray Smith, will also take place. Items to be auctioned include tickets to The Voice, American Idol, unique chef table inspired dinners from local favorites West Steak and Seafood and Paon Restasurant, and other amazing opportunities.

 The event is projected to raise $200,000 in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad’s proven after-school programs. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well as auction item donation are being solicited (what a great way to showcase your product or business!).
